The price you're quoted for a hotel isn't the price — it's a starting point. Room category, timing, and who's asking all move the number. BeatMyStay exists to check that number before you commit to it.

What we do

BeatMyStay is a free quote-checking service. Send us a hotel quote you've already been given — from Booking.com, Expedia, or the hotel directly — and we check it against rates available through our specialist booking partner. If there's a better price, a free upgrade, or both, we tell you. If there isn't, you've lost nothing and you keep your existing quote.

Who you actually book with

BeatMyStay doesn't take bookings or hold payments. BeatMyStay is an independent checking service — when BeatMyStay can beat a quote, BeatMyStay introduces the customer to its specialist hotel booking partner, who negotiates the rate and handles everything from there. The customer's booking is made directly with the hotel, not with BeatMyStay. BeatMyStay is not the business the customer hands card details to, and BeatMyStay is not the business managing the stay — BeatMyStay is the business that checks the number before the customer gets to that point.

Why the price moves

Hotel quotes are rarely as stable as they look. Two guests can receive different prices for what appears to be the same room because the room category isn't fixed: a "sea view" or "deluxe" label can cover several inventory tiers, and the exact tier within the tier changes the rate.

Demand-based repricing is common at popular resorts, especially in peak windows. The price you see in the morning can shift by the afternoon if the property's revenue system adjusts availability.

Rate parity between the hotel's own site and Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) like Booking.com or Expedia is also weaker than people assume. A direct rate may carry different cancellation terms, inclusions, or upgrade potential, and specialist partners sometimes have access to rates that aren't publicly listed at all.

No — we're an independent quote-checking service. We don't hold an ATOL licence or take bookings ourselves; our specialist partner handles the actual booking, directly with the hotel.

Do I pay BeatMyStay anything?

No. Checking your quote is free, with no obligation to switch if we can't beat it.

Who do I actually book with?

The hotel itself. Our partner negotiates the rate on your behalf, but your booking, payment, and correspondence through to arrival are directly with the hotel.

What happens to my details?

They're shared only with our specialist booking partner, only to prepare your quote, and only with your consent at the point you submit the form.
